Safe Reliable Transportation for Woodland Seniors

A: Community Care Car is a transportation system, run entirely by volunteers to those 55 years and older. Vans run daily from 8:00 am to 2:15 pm, Monday through Friday.

A: Care Car is independently run entirely by volunteers and relies on donations from individuals, civic groups, and businesses, as well as memorial donations.

A: A two dollar donation is appreciated, but not required.

A: Call our office 530-662-7800,  between 8:00 am-3:00 pm Monday-Friday.

A: Requests need to be made at least 24 hours in advance. Scheduled appointments (medical, hair, classes, etc. when you must arrive at a dedication time) can be made up to one month before your appointment day.

We serve all locations within the city limits of Woodland.

A: No. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours prior.

A: You may schedule one ride each day during the week (M-F), and a ride to church on Sunday morning.

A: Transportation is available to any location within the city limits, such as doctors, hair salons, stores, restaurants, friends, etc., within the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:15 p.m.

A: No, your reservation is good for one trip/location and one return ride.

A: Sunday service is provided for morning church services, with a reservation. No Saturday service.

A: Riders must be able to board without assistance, but canes and walkers are accepted.

A: Yes, Caregivers are allowed to ride. Please make that clear when making your reservation.
